You are considered to be a WY resident if your principal abode is in WY. Your "principal abode" is the typically the place where you intend to spend the most time, belong to civic organizations or church, are registered to vote, have your driver's license, and your cars are registered. If you have recently moved to WY and still have an out-of-state license you should change it to a WY license within 30 days. You will need to provide ID and proof of residency, such as a rental agreement or utility bill to show you have put down roots in the state. As fior number of days - if you spend more than half the year in WY you would generally be considered a WY resident unless you are on a temporary work assignment or extended vacation.
