40 Ceiling Fan suddenly not working
We have a bedroom ceiling fan that operates on a remote. All of a sudden last night when using the remote the ceiling fan lights and fan don't want to come on but when using the light switch the lights and fan comes on but won't go off. Could there be an issue with the remote or with the receiver up in the ceiling under the cover plate? The ceiling fan has yellow chromed with 5 blades and is 40" across, there are no markings of the MFG, Model No: and the customer care number is no longer in service. Can anyone please help with idea's and any idea on how to get another remote?

    Thanks - Tonester
