    Ceiling Fan Remote not working
    I bought a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan last year today it wouldn't come on and I noticed the red wire is out of the back of the remote.. is there any way to fix that.. or should I just go buy a new remote... Thanks for any help.

    Did you mean the red wire was out of the remote or out of the receiver in the fan. You should not see any wiring in the remote. Back to you for more info.

    I think the remote came loose from the battery connector, is what he's saying. You can solder it back on, or splice on a new battery connector (available from Radio Shack) or just replace the remote.
