How do I obtain a copy of my deceased father's will?
My sister's did not tell me of my father passing until the day of his funeral.I lived in AZ. And he lived in LA.They forged my name to sell his house,I never saw or received a copy of his will, they said they sold everything he owned. When I asked my sister for a copy of the will she said she didn't have it and that she couldn't remember which sister was the executor of it.There are 6(six)girls and my father had a life insurance policy of which I received a check from but I know they are hiding something and I don't have the money to fight them and they know it.Please help... I was set on fire in 1999 by my then boyfriend and my father was always there for me.Then all of a sudden he's gone(he passed on 8/9/2004).

Since it has been 10 years you will need a lawyer. Many of them have reduced fees for a 1 time session. From there you can decide on what exactly are your legal options. Some will handle a case on contingent. Meaning that you only pay if they win. For a better understanding and to see where and how you fit into all of this I am including a link for you to read.

It has been so long, you needed the lawyer when he died.

If there was a will, if there was an estate, it went though court.

If you thought there should be, you would have, when it happened, started a case in court to bring the estate to court.

If there was forged documents, you press legal charges,( although most likely too late now)

They forged my name to sell his house,
That is doubtful. If the property was in your father's name when he died, your name wouldn't be on the title, and your signature wouldn't be required.

What is more likely is that they commenced probate proceedings and somehow failed to name you as an heir. Louisiana law pertaining to estates and wills is very unusual, by the way. If there was a will and if it was probated, you can probably contact the probate court for a copy. Or, if there was no will, they would have had to have instituted a probate case anyway, in order to sell the property. Contact the clerk of court in the parish where your father died.

Another possibility is that he signed a deed to the property before he died. In that case, it wouldn't have been necessary to probate his estate to sell the house.
