Why does my furnace run when the thermostat is off?
When I turn on my furnace it kicks on... heats up and runs for a long time... when it finally shuts off... it will turn back on blowing cold air and keep doing that... I shut if off at the thermostat and it still does it? We have to take the door off the furnace to shut it off...

Is this an electric furnace. If so you could have a bad sequencer. Make and model number?
