Religions mixing, just like races mixing creates tolerance for others which is one more thing the world can use more of. -- Savage

Mormons are Christians, so the devil won't get you if you date him. But don't be surprised if he thinks his church is the only TRUE Christian church.

As a Christian you probably believe like I do that Jesus came and died for your sins. This grace and forgiveness from God means that life is not as it appears. This selfish desire I feel inside me must be wrong. Since God created me for His glory then all myself serving passions and desires are genuinely evil. I will only live for a few years here and live forever there. Knowing that, believing that, I could never give my heart away to someone that may be lost to me forever. My whole focus in life to them would be silly. I could never enjoy the pleasure of sharing my complete heart with them.
Because of God's love He has blessed me with a wife who loves (and fears) God more than she loves me. We both share and understand the true passions of each others hearts. She helps me when I'm selfish and helps me become the person God wants me to be.

Sorry for the long reply, your question is important and I know that you will find the right answer. Jeremiah 29:12,13 "'Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the LORD."

    God Bless.

As you can see, as with many denominations, Mormans have had their share of mistruths and hate against them, there are even groups like Chick Publications ( supported by many fundemental groups) that attack Mormans and Catholics as some satanic religions,

But of course Mormons are merely another denomination of Christain, they do have some different beleifs, and some teachings a little different, but they havve most of the same basic faiths also.
They are very family based and have an importance on home life and relatonshiops.

Only you can decide if having some different beliefs can cause a different, but they are Christian, ( everyone I know are very nice people)

This answer can only be made by yourself. Personally it think its perfectly fine. But religion is a very touchy subject, it's a matter of opinion and belief, and it can cause conflict. To be in this relationship both parties should be willing and open minded to new ideas for this relationship to work. This is a question that you have to form an opinion on your own. Do you think its bad?Can you make it work?
But the question to me seems to be, why are you questioning yourself if you like this guy?
Make your own opinion, make a choice that is most comfortable for you.

Unsure if you are still checking here for answers but here is my 2 cents worth. I am Mormon and we are definitely Christian. The name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. How strong are you in your religion and will your parents be opposed to his? We are having this issue currently in our family. My daughter is dating a boy of a different faith and he now wants her to change. This has been a very difficult time in our family because we are so family oriented and are concerned that this will cause problems latter in her life if she makes changes for him and not for herself. With a marriage the more things you have in common the better, moral values, economic backgrounds etc. Date him! But know that his family will have concerns if you become serious.

My best friend is Russian Orthadox. His fiancée is (was) Roman Catholic. He never asked her to change her religon and they got along fine for more than 5 years. Once they got engaged SHE decided to become Orthadox as well. Her family supported her. I think 2 religons in a relationship are fine, as long as both listen and respect each other and their beliefs.

Well think of the children. JK. Most Mormons I have met have been extremely friendly, considerate, and personable people. So why not. Depending on his family and so forth he may not be as open to dating "outside" though.
