    My promise to appear had the wrong court date
    My promise to appear had the wrong court date and so a summon was given to my daughter to give to me, that summons has my wrong birth date as well as a different file number as the promise to appear. This is in relation to an impaired driving charge

    And your question is?

    The wrong birth date is no big deal.

    I would be puzzled about the different file number. It is possible that there are two different charges. Call the clerk of court and ask.

    Make sure you appear on the date of the summon and the rest can be worked out by the court clerk when you sign in for your appearance.
