Bagger chute will not fit disharge opening of mower
Received 30in. Two bin rear bagger (247.240690) for craftsman rear engine rider (247.29000) and began assembly today. All went OK until fitting the bagger tube to the mower deck. If I fit the top bolt first, the tube fits the curvature of the mower discharge but the rear bolt to hole is misaligned about 1 inch. If I mount the rear bolt first and force the tube to the top bolt, there is a space about 4" long and 3/4" wide where the tube and mower deck are misaligned. Also the safety is not depressed to allow the mower to start. I have tried multiple times to assemble with no success.

    Hi,
I would say you have a wrong part. Often the fit is tight new, but not off by that amount. The parts breakdown calls fro part #731-09227 for the chute. I would suggest a call to SearsPartsDirect helpline at (800) 252-1698.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Wizard Riding Mower Bagger [ 1 Answers ]

Hello, I recently bought a Wizard Riding Mower. It is a 16hp 42" deck mower. I would like to put a bagger on it. Does anyone know what brands of used baggers I could look for to fit it? I only paid $250 for the mower so I don't want to spend a ton on a new bagger... Thanks!
