    Black hair fader
Since Decemeber last year I have been dying my hair with nice 'n' easy "natural dark brown" and it has ended up near enough black.

My real colour is a light auburn and my roots grow in fast.

I'm sick of the up keep and want to move to a lighter shade of brown, but nothing will go over the black.

The salon told me that I have died it to many times to chemically strip it and that I should leave it for a few months, until it begins to fade.

This is not an option as when my roots grow in it will look ridicolous.

My plan is to keep touching up my roots with a light brown to blend with the black, so that it looks less obvious.

Is there any remeides/suggestions that people know to quicken the fade of the black?

If you need to fade your hair, try using Prell, Head & Shoulders or a clarifying shampoo. Be sure to use a conditioner afterwards to help restore moisture in your hair.

You might try using a temporary color until you can re-die it a lighter shade.
