Should I have got pregnant?
Hello :-) I'm 26 female and my partners 35 male. We have been together just over 6 years. I am not on any form of birth control and we do not use contraception. My partner has never ejaculated inside me, nor does he pull out and come straight away, it is at soonest about a minute after. Is it weird that I have never got pregnant? I'm trying not to worry but I can't help but worry a little.
Thanks for reading :-) x

How long have you been trying to conceive? Also, if you're trying to conceive, why does he not ejaculate inside of you? Obviously you're hoping to conceive, which is why you're asking why you haven't as of yet.
Does he know that you're hoping to conceive?
You can get pregnant with early fluids, as they do contain sperm, but the chances of getting pregnant that way, although possible, are slim. He pulls out and ejaculates minutes after, according to your post.
You seem to be trying to get pregnant, while not trying to get pregnant.
The way you're doing things can cause pregnancy, it does happen all the time. But, the best way to conceive is no protection, and the male ejaculating inside of the woman when she's ovulating.
In other words, I really wouldn't be concerned that you haven't gotten pregnant. I would be concerned that you seem to be worried about pregnancy, but aren't really doing anything to prevent it.

Thanks for your reply, no we haven't started trying yet but hope to in the very near future, I'm just a little worried that something could be wrong as a couple of girlfriends find it odd that I've never fell pregnant but you can't really know until your properly trying like you say X

Once you start trying, actively trying, penis in vagina, no protection, ejaculating in vagina, tracking (not with an app but with basal temperature readings) ovulation, and you've been trying for at least a year, then worry if you haven't gotten pregnant.
Right now, it's possible to get pregnant with what you're doing, women have gotten pregnant that way, but it's a slim chance. So I wouldn't worry that you haven't gotten pregnant yet.
Worry when you actually start having sex like you're trying for a baby.
Remember that it can take the average couple 1-2 years to get pregnant once they start trying. So give it at least a year before you start asking doctors what's wrong.
It took me 7 months with my son, 10 months with my daughter. I had many friends that said "We're trying now", went off birth control, and bam, one month later and they were pregnant. That's not the norm.
My third pregnancy (I lost the baby) was not planned. It was a drunken night of reckless abandon, and bam, I'm pregnant.
There is no rule. Some women get pregnant the first time they have sex. Some women get pregnant even though they're on 3 or more forms of birth control, then, when they try later, it takes years to have another, when they're actually trying.
Don't base yourself on what others think, or what others have experienced. Pregnancy, and getting there, is different for everyone. :)
