 My fan was working fine last winter. When I returned from the South, the remote would not cause the fan or light to operate. I replaced the batteries in the remote to no avail. My guess would be either the receiver or the transmitter has failed. But I don't know how to check it. Any ideas?

 I have a defective freceiver on my Hampton Bay Windward 2 fan. I have the new one to replace it. How do you install it if the fan is flushmounted to the ceiling?

Light went out on fan; replaced fluorescent light bulb (round thing) and now fan works fine off the remote but light will not come on. Any ideas? Thanks, C View more questions Search
