    Scarlett fever
    My daughter has suspected Scarlett fever and is having a throat swab today. How contagious is this and am u OK to go to work as I work in a supermarket

    Scarlet fever is an airborne virus, so that means it can be contracted by coughs and sneezes, which actually travel quite far. It is contagious, and you will have to be home with your daughter while she is recovering, and it will be antibiotic treatment. I don't think you will be going to work until she is cured.

    Unless you have scarlet fever there is no reason you cannot go to work.
