It sounds like your water level switch or timer is bad. You will have to use a meter to find out which one is bad or you have a wire loose. After the water level switch switches power it goes from the water valves to the timer. The second part of the switch sends power to timer and on to the motor. Check it with a meter by blowing on the plastic tube while checking it with an ohm meter to see if it switches over the power coming into it like it should. Washer completes wash cycle but when it gets ready to spin it doesn't do anything. I don't believe it is the lid. How do I take off the back panel to possibly correct the problem.
Our Whirlpool washer has developed a strong, musty odor. We think it is coming out of the hole in the agitator. Can the agitator be taken off? What could be making a strong smell? I have tried running clorox through, and it doesn't seem to help. Thanks
