I want move out my parents house but I don't feel like I can't do it just yet. I'm working now but still my mom says I'm not responsible enough to do so. my friend offered me a room in her place. I don't know I don't feel like going.

Your mom is probibly right... living on your own requires a LOT of responsibility... because NOBODY is going to be doing anything for you and nobody is going to pay your bills... you have to work to earn enough to pay ALL of them or you do without certain things until you can.

You have the perfect opportunity to start taking on more responsibility with the safety of being at home still. Sit down with your parents and discuss what bills are paid in maintaining a home or apartment. Figure out what you could reasonably start paying towards the types of bills that you might have if you were living on your own. You could make monthly "payments" either directly to your parents, or into an account you set up, or divide it between the two. The extra money will no doubt help your parents as well.

This will allow you to see where your money would be going, how to budget for your "bills", where you might need to cut back on expenses... going out less often, buying fewer things you don't really need but just want, etc.

If after 6 months or so you find that you can handle it well, then at that time you might decide to move out, or you might find you need more time... or perhaps adding a part time job to bring in more income.

When you do decide to move out, you will also have a nice savings.

Now, if you're over 18, and do feel like going, then go. At 18 you're legally considered an adult, and can make your own decisions, good or bad. Mom and Dad can't say no once you're an adult.

But from what you said, you agree with your parents. So stay put for now.

I don't want to sound mean, but you sound very naïve and immature and not ready for the wide wide world. First thing you have to do is SAVE MONEY. Most young people at home have no idea how expensive it is to be on your own. Meanwhile have several talks with the friend who offered to let you live there - serious talks about costs, habits, food, sleeping times, fun, music, TV, cleaning, bathroom use, and all the things that 2 people living together have to think about so that they get along.
