Hi there, I had my last period the 22nd of July and it stopped around the 25th. I'm a 15 year old girl and my boyfriend and I introduced the idea of sex about a week ago (on the 28th of July). We have only done it for about 5 minutes and I told him to stop because I didn't want him to ejaculate inside of me (we didn't have protection on hand). It's a week later now and I've been scaring myself to death about all of these early pregnancy symptoms, and I can't tell if what I'm feeling is just ovulation. I've been a little bit more gassy lately, and I sometimes get slight cramps. I've also noticed that my discharge has a musky/kind of fishy smell to it and it is a mixture of whitish/liquid-clear substance. I don't have a car so I can't get any pregnancy tests, and I don't want to have the awkward discussion with my parents about it. Could it be pregnancy or could my symptoms be cause by something else?

First huge mistake... actually believing he has to ejaculate to make you pregnant. It could have been accomplished the moment he first entered you. Second HUGE mistake....letting him do anything without protection. Not having it handy is the lamest excuse anyone has ever used. You simply wait until you do, and you don't do anything until then.

If you end up having a baby because you didn't want to wait..give some thought as to how dumb that really is.....see my point?

Most so called early pregnancy symptoms are brandished around by people that know little about the subject. Having had a child or more doesn't make you an authority on human reproduction either. Since most of them were surprised by their pregnancies.

Time to have that awkward discussion with your parents because if you are you can't hide it, and even if you aren't... you are getting a lot of very bad information someplace. And bad information WILL result in getting you in very serious trouble.

You have to sweat and panic for at least 5 more weeks... because your next period isn't even due for a nother few weeks, and you HAVE to be at least two weeks late for that one to do a home pregnancy test or the results really mean little.

Never should his penis enter you without a condom on, and you should also be using a form of birth control as well to lessen the chance of an unplanned pregnancy even more.

Ideally, you would "unintroduce" the idea of having sex as you and your boyfriend are likely not in a position to have or raise a baby at this stage of your lives... correct? Now is the time for you to protect your plans for your future and your health (having a baby at 15-16 carries more risk to you and to a baby).

Think very carefully about how much your lives could change... friends often disappear, school becomes a challenge to complete, social life dwindles, money, time, and energy all go to a baby first. And even though no one thinks it would happen to them, teen relationships often do not continue due to the stress and changes.

Guess who usually continues to have their life changed while the other person goes pretty much back to a normal teen life?

The gas and slight cramps could be one due to the other. A fishy smell of your discharge is not considered a possible sign of pregnancy. That, along with the color, may be a possible bacterial infection. If it continues, have a parent set an appointment with your doctor.

As was said, you'll have to wait and see what happens when your period is due.
