Toilet flushes only when wire snake is shoved in
My toilet won't flush normally. I tried snaking the toilet and when the snake is inserted in the toilet it will flush, and all the water goes out then gurgle gurgle. When I pull the snake out the flush will start but never completes - the water never fully goes out and no gurgle gurgle.

Size: 2.2 KBBy "snake" do you mean closet auger (see image)? Something's down in there stopping the flush action. If you can't snag it out you might have to pull the toilet and go in from the bottom. Let me know what you have done so far. Back to you. Tom
