    New Job and Pregnancy
    Hello

I am actively looking for a new job. What happens if I get a new job and then get pregnant? I know I am protected if I am at my new job for at least one year, but what if it less than that?

    Thanks!

That would depend on the policy of where you get your new job. Many have shorter probation periods for new hires than a year.

If you are covered under FMLA, then you can take time (unpaid) without them firing you. However, you are probably in a right to work state and that means, if they want to fire you they can without much reason. So I don't know where you got the idea you were protected after 1 year, but it would a tentative protection at best.
