What could be wrong with ac if the ac never shuts off unless you trip the breaker
My ac will not shut off unless you trip the breaker we took the batterys out of the thermastat and it still runs we are guessing its running off the power from the house. In order to turn off the ac w have to turn it off from the breaker? Anyone know what could be wrong with the ac

Try taking the stat off while it is running and see what happens. This will narrow it down. Post Model numbers of furnace and AC.
