Bruising and swelling
Last Saturday I fell on cement and hit my head on a metal guard for steps while running from a bee (I am allergic to bees). My head started swelling up pretty quickly and I went to the ER. The swelling started going down before we even left the hospital. The doctor said I had a slight or mild concussion. Both knees got pretty skinned up and the left knee was even a little dumb right after the fall. The doctor said they would heal and gave me warning that I would end up with a black eye. I actually ended up with 2 very bright purple eyes. The eyes are getting better every day and there is just a little swelling still on the head at the point of impact and still a little tender. Yesterday, My left knee started bruising up and so did the inside of my left foot. This is exactly one week after my accident. Is this normal? Should I be worried? Do I need to go back to the doctor?Thank you.

Depending, bruises can take a while to show up. If it concerns you than go to the doctor. If it is just bruising, I would keep an eye on it and see what happens but would also make an appointment. It could be the swelling going down is allowing certain bruises to form. Going to the doctor is never a really bad idea.
