    When will this end??
    Hello. I am a 42 year old woman who has had some serious bleeding issues in the last few months. (going through 20 to 30 tampons in a day at times) I am passing huge blood clots and cramping terribly. Previously I was getting the Depo shot for about 3 to 4 years and had no bleeding at all but have had to stop due to insurance regulations.
    These episodes go on anywhere from 3 days to a full week and happen almost every week. It completely comes out of nowhere like a faucet has been turned on. I would appreciate any advice I can get at this point. I'm very frustrated and going to a Dr is not an option due to the 'Obama Care' bs.

    Going to the doctor is always an option, you need to go, this can well be a serious issue and needs to be examined by the doctor.

    You choice or ability to buy insurance, merely means you might have to pay for the doctors appointment which one appointment would be less often, than a months insurance premium.

    Hi sessybunny,

    Call your doctor and see if a payment plan can be set up for a visit. There are several possible reasons you might be having irregular bleeding. Some that may clear up without intervention, some that may end up requiring surgery before the bleeding stops.

    I have to agree. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of "Obama Care" but you can always get treatment, if you have insurance coverage or not. Your health is worth much more than any BS. ;)

    To bleed so profusely, you're risking serious anemia. You really should be seen by a doctor before it gets worse. It might not improve on its own.
