    Ceiling Fan
I am installing a new ceiling fan in a new basement. The outlet has black, white and red. The fan remote has blue and black. There is no wall switch, only the remote with the fan. How do I complete the wiring?

    Thanks,

The outlet where? An outlet is where you plug something in. Ceiling box perhaps? How are the black and red connected? Sounds like 3 way wiring and there should be switches for the ceiling box otherwise, how do you turn lights on and off?
