    My Hunter outdoor fan has 2 capacitors.
    Can a 5 wire capacitor replace them? The old one one has 4 wires and the other has 2.

    Replace like caps only. Any thing else theoretically will work, but there are no guarantees. Stick with the design or replace the entire fan.
