    Light bleeding/
    I am in my fifth week of pregnancy and this morning the two times I went to the bathroom there was really light pink blood on the toilet paper. I had very light cramping. I have been having this light cramping on and off since being aware of pregnancy. What does this mean? I have my first visit with doctor in two weeks is it okay to wait to talk about this or should I go to the er?

    Light bleeding throughout pregnancy is normal. Although I would just call the doctor and see if they want to see you sooner. It will never hurt to call, and believe me they are very used to calls like that. Good luck and congrats!

    I agree with calling just to be sure. I bled more than just lightly during my last pregnancy but was told everything was fine so I'm sure you'll be OK. Better safe than sorry though so get on the phone.
