    I will be 62 in August I am only get 60pencentof my husband social security
    I am a widow I am only getting partial of my husband social security how can I get the full benefits

    They are reduced because you started taking them early. You will need to be 65+ to get full benefits. Since you are taking now, you will not qualify for a higher payout since the amount you get now is actuarially calculated for your age..

    I agree with ma0641. That ship sailed when you electerd to take the benefits before 65. Now you can never collect the full amount.
