I'm 22 and me and my boyfriend are trying for a baby, my period was from 28/05-01/06 which is normal for me we had unprotected sex on the 10/06 I don't usually get any warning signs that my period is coming but for about a week I've had cramping pains in my groin and my pelvis, my nipples are sore, I'm tired and have lower back pain.. on the 28/06 I was expecting my period to come and its usually a heavy flow, I went to the bathroom to check but nothing had come.. a few hours later I went to check again I wiped and it was so so light it was light pink in colour, I didn't feel any blood coming out at all so I kept checking but only twice that day I had light pink spots.. today 29/06 I checked again this morning still light pink I checked again in the afternoon and it had turned abit more red but not a lot of blood was there, again now I check and its turned a brownish colour with a like a burgundy clot with it is this implantation spotting or is my period changing for some reason... by the way my periods are regular and always on time... can someone help me please?

Sadly there's no way to determine if it's implantation, your period, or you're just having an off month.

The only way to determine pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, an ultrasound, or giving birth. Spotting and symptoms cannot determine if you're pregnant.

It's possible that it is due to implantation. While most women won't notice it, a fair number do. Certainly it can be just the start of your period, even if it is off a bit from the norm. Cycles can be off now and then, and there's going to be a first time when they are.

Give it some more time, maybe another week or so, to see if your cycle is just off and your period shows up late. If still no period, try a pregnancy test, making sure that you follow the directions carefully.
