    95 Toyota Tercel not starting.
    Will start if pushed. Clicking sound when key is in starting position but no fire. Headlights, interior lights work fine. Live in the sticks. Only backyard mechanics available. Closest town 64 miles. Any ideas? Ty.

    Battery would be first check. Starter is another. Make sure the safety switch on he clutch pedal is OK.

    Remove and fully charge, or replace, the battery. Ensure the battery terminals and connections are clean and tight.
