So 3 weeks ago I noticed that my breast were really sensitive, followed by nausea. So I figured I was pregnant, then about a week ago right before I was suppose to get my period I took a test it was negative. Sunday I started cramping and got my period, but it lasted 2 days, then the next 2 day was spotting. I took another test and it said negative. I was wondering maybe because it was at night time. But my question is why am I still having pregnancy symptoms?

Some women will have some similar symptoms as those in early pregnancy during ovulation and/or soon before a period starts. It can happen often, it can happen rarely... everyone is different.

It is possible that you are pregnant, but may need to wait longer to test. Some women will get a positive result early on, others will find that it can take several weeks... once again, it is very individual.

It is recommended to test in the morning, right after you get up, as you usually have gone a considerable amount of time without taking in fluids or using the toilet. Some women will test later in the day by avoiding fluids for several hours before the test so that the urine is not diluted.

You may just have had an off period, which can happen, but either try another test in about a week, or wait and see what happens when you would expect your period for July and test at that time if necessary. Of course, you could always see your doctor for a test in office if you wanted to. They may decide to do a blood test, which can pick up a pregnancy sooner, if you are continuing to have possible pregnancy symptoms.

You can not really go by symptoms, many women have none at all, at this early, a few women have some...

This is almost too early to test. Most tests need to wait till you are at least two week late... so a negative test now, really does not mean anything.

But is you do test it should always be first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up
