    Genital warts
I was diagnosed with genital warts about a month and half ago. I have had recurrent outbreaks even after treatment of condylox and cauterization. However all of the warts I've had are very small. Does the body tend to "fight off" HPV over time?

That's a hard one. From what I read it seems that it takes about a year and a half to fight off a HPV infection in about 80% of the cases according to wikipedia. The mode that you're in is treating the symptoms until the infection is done. Your infection will not be considered complete until you're tests come clean for several consecutive months. I would recommend avoiding ALL sexual contact until that time and if you happen to have sex, use as much protection as you can, maybe even a car to drive yourself away from where your partner is. You didn't mention if you were a woman or not but realize that studies have shown that certain strains can cause cervical cancer, so you might be at risk or your partner might be depending.

It is kind of crappy but that's life.

I've recently noticed one small bump "down there". I've searched the web for an answer to what it might be but I need more specific advice before I see a doctor.
