    Peptic ulcer
I have recently been diagnosed with a peptic ulcer after having a gastric bypass in 2005, it causes extreme pain. I am trying to learn more about this condition. I have severe cramping in the abdominal area, vomiting, and very dark tarry stools. How long does it take for something like this to heal?

With some people they never do, others might take years... a few might in significantly less time, there is no normal because it can be so varied... thats why you need to discuss this with your doctor so it can be monitored.
