Hi

I have this problem which I don't know if it even is a problem. I'm 18 years old and I have this girl at school that I always walk by in the hallway. The only thing we exchange are 'hi" and that's basically it. I know this girl through a friend who is sisters with her and the girl and I have talked a lot a couple of years ago. But now we just can't a words across from each other.

The problem now is that I'm getting so fed up with just walking by her and not talking to her that I just want to avoid her all togther. I'm beginning to stop looking at her when I walk by her at school. I feel I have a crush on her and that is why I'm worrying too much. I admit I can't even confront her because I''m shy and I do get shaky when I see her. I blame myself a bit because of that since one reason we don't talk is that I get scared when seeing her. Nonetheless, I get thoughts that it isn't her fault and the fact that I should just stop saying hi to her because we just couldn't talk to each other for a year now. High school is almost over and I doubt I'll ever see her again and that is one reason why I just want to forget about her.

Try writing on a piece of paper... "I've been wanting to tell you I like you very much but I'm shy." Hand it to her next time you see her.

Unless you are willing to be honest with someone you care about, it's best to leave them alone.

Take your courage in your hands and speak to her next time. Even if its just 'Hi. How are you?'

If you know her through another friend, maybe speak to that friend and ask them to help you?
