Do I need to seek medical treatment?
I am a 54 yr old hairstylist. I've had varicose veins for years and have not had any pain. Several days ago, my leg began to ache behind my knee. I felt a bulge, and the vein was raised up a bit. It hurt a little, but did not keep me from my normal activities. This morning, I noticed a large about 4in. Long, 1/2 in. wide rectangular shaped bruise in the area where the bulge was. Should I be concerned? Do I need to seek medical treatment?

I am not sure if it is anything to be concerned about or not, but I Would go get it checked out just to be safe.
