    Error on odometer
    Cleaned battery terminals and now an error code stays on all the time.

    Get someone to pull the codes with a code scanner... nobody could even make a wild guess before then.

    Nissans are notorious for this, if you disconnect the battery terminals for any reason. The light will go away on Nissans, once you drive several miles. See if this works for you. Also, check your Owner's Manual.
