Hi, my expected 1st day of AR was 26th May (am usually prompt) but nothing happened. On the same evening I spotted a slight brownish discharge. Then on day 2 and 3 (today) I have had cramps especially in the morning and the brownish discharge continues especially when I wipe. Although I found a little on the panty liner yesterday. When I shower, I do find 1 or 2 little kind of clots.

Prior to my expected day of AR, I had had sore and tender breasts for about 4 or more days. I took a pregnancy test on the evening of 26th but was negative.

Am confused, what should I do. This cramp pain is so uncomfy. Makes me feel like my period is about to flow anytime but nothing. I just want it out than keep me on tension.

It's possible that it may be due to pregnancy, many women will feel as though their period is about to come on, but it can also just be that your period is about to start. Sometimes cycles can be off now and then.

Give it a bit more time and, if still no period, you could try another pregnancy test or see your doctor for a test in the office.

IT most test you need a decent amount of a specific hormone in your urine and you don't get to that level until you're about two weeks late on your period if the lateness is due to pregnancy. So I am afraid you're going to have to wait a bit. Most of the famed pre-pregnancy symptoms also precede a period and as such the only reliable symptom that you can look for is a missed period.
