    Still hurt over breakup
Heya guys basically my girlfriend of 3.5 years broke up with me in Sept past and I know it's been 8 months but I still find myself Sad and confused on different days. I don't know what I did as she just turned around 1 day and said its over after I have supported her through depression and hard times. I have moved on a bit and I'm even living in my place now but I still feel stupid and sad is this normal ?

Sure its normal. A 3 year attachment that changed to nothing that you can understand certainly takes some getting use to. Just as starting over has its confusion as you try to heal. Its like being dropped off in a foreign country and you know no one. Eventually you will get the lay of the land, and be excited about your new life.

Good chance to make friends and find out what you enjoy. Confusion is both normal, and temporary. Hang in there. It gets better.

Being helpless to do anything about the situation makes overthinking things very easy. Been dumped a few times. It always sucks. On to the next thing life throws at you.
