    42 weeks and no doctor
Enter Your question here... I'm 42 weeks and I have no doctor based on my religious beliefs. I went and got
    A sonogram when I was 20 weeks. She's a healthy VERY active baby girl. I'm 21
Years old and have no medical problems and have a 1 yearold that I also had no
Prenatal care except two sonograms to make sure he was developed and healthy. I
Had him naturally at 39 weeks. I'm just wondering what I should do? I've been
Having strong contractions for the past two days that are very constant. Do I
Just go to L&D? And tell them I'm 42 weeks and having contractions? Would they
Keep me or turn me away even though I'm 42 weeks?

At 42 weeks, your placenta is most likely insufficient to provide proper oxygenation to the fetus. Go to L&D. Without a doctor and improper prenatal care, you will be assigned to the on-call doctor or resident.

Im I not even going to address no getting any prenatal care. Religious beliefs or not.

Follow what J_9 suggested. It is interesting that you won't see a doctor during the pregnancy but you will have ultrasounds and see a doctor when it is time to give birth.

    Wishing you a smooth delivery!

I am wondering what religion you are. As a labor and delivery nurse I have worked with many women of many different cultures. Not one if them do not see a doctor during pregnancy, yet allow themselves to see a doctor for the delivery.

I, too, am wishing you a safe delivery, but more importantly, a healthy baby.
