Double sink won't drain - even after we used auger
We have a double sink in the kitchen, left side has a garbage disposal. Under the sink, there is one horizontal pipe that sits in the middle and leads out the back. It's also connected to two other pipes, each one connection to each sink with a U shaped elbow joint.

We took off the front of the horizontal pipe that sits in the middle figuring it has to be the one clogged. When the sink that has the disposal is full and we run the disposal, all the water is forced back into the other sink. So we figure, the two pipes coming out of each sink must be okay because they are transferring water back and forth easily. But it's not draining, so it must be the pipe in the middle.

We used a 25 foot auger and it went in easily all the way. But we still have the same problem. The sink is still clogged.

Before we tried the auger, we tried vinegar and even some draino.

What else can we do? We do not have the money for a plummer.

If you have snaked the pipe that goes into the wall and didn't get it then you must snake from the kitchen roof vent. Put out enough snake to reach the base and 15 more feet. Good luck, Tom

Don't waste your money on Drano... I agree with speedball, you need more cable as you are not reaching the obstruction.
