Could be several reasons. What about the food disgusts you? The visual? The smell? The texture?

I am guessing that the smell is what is doing it. You are hungry but the smell of it turns you off. This could be caused by a number of things, including allergies to malfunctioning sense of smell. You see something appeteizing but your brain is registering it as dangerous so it wards you away. Have you tried talking to a doctor about this?

Appetite is a combination of smell, stomach signals to the brain and back, memory, habit, and hormones. Women, having fluctuating reproductive hormones each monthly cycle and when pregnant, are good examples of what can happen to appetite. Certain medications can have a drastic effect. There could be rare medical conditions.
You need to tell us a LOT more about your history.
And I take it you aren't starving, so when did this start, and how much do you eat?
