I have onboard and external graphics card, PC ignores onboard one, but I want to use it because it has hdmi port. Is there a way to enable it without disabling the external one? Or maybe a software where I can easily enable/disable anyone quickly?

You have to access the BIOS to enable/disable onboard graphics chipset. How that is done and the settings depend on your computer's make and model.

Been googling around and can't find a definite answer. I think if you enable the external graphics card in the BIOS it disables the onboard one, but it may just depend on the manufacturer. Only one way to find out.. Give it a try.

I do believe you can buy a DVI to HDMI adapter for the card but it will only pass the video feed, no audio, since DVI has no audio capabilities. Since the driver for the bios video choice has to be loaded at boot, there is no software to switch between them. There are a few boards that enable sharing onboard and external graphics as long as they are the same type. I have a Gigabyte board that has ATI onboard and allows sharing (a sort of crossfire built in) with a few types of ATI video cards (HD2300 or 2400 I think) but they are not available new anymore so I don't bother. Instead I would probably just buy a budget card ($140-170) like a Sapphire Radeon R7 265 Dual-X or a Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti Windforce. Both cards get a 9 out of 10 in Maximum PC Magazines review, with the AMD part getting a kick-azz award for more power.
