    reaction to CT scan
I had a ct scan 3 days ago with an IV contrast dye I had no problems until today I noticed I have some swelling around my eyes and a black bruise with a pea sized lump near the injection site is this anything to worry about. I had a hysterectomy performed a little over a week ago also, they were checking my back because I was having sever pain along the spine.

That's really up to you, it's your health.

There are no doctors on this site, or any other site. No doctor would risk his/her medical license by diagnosing online. In other words, all you'll get online are guesses, not real answers.

So it really depends on how concerned you are about this. If you are concerned, see your doctor. But really, the choice is yours and yours alone.

    Good luck.

The bruise and lump at the injection site is very common, especially with IV contrast. No need to seek medical attention for that.

The swelling around your eyes may or may not be related. Seeing as this is three days out, I doubt it is related. Do you have allergies of any kind? Where I am from seasonal allergies are in high gear. Swollen eyes are common with seasonal allergies.
