I had a d and c on 18th march lost brown blood until 4th April I had no bleeding until 10th April stopped again on the 12th April and started again on 14th April and finished on 18th of April I have had sex on my fertile days and more I don't know if I take my cycle from 10th April or the 14th April I'm usually regular I have had no period yet a think I am late or due today but nothing yet I I'm having pregnancy symptoms sore breasts and one is more sore and bigger then the other tiredness bloated Hungary more feeling sick only some times I have a horrible taste in my mouth on a morning like I have been chewing on copper money I'm not having cravings discharge or cramps but feel pregnant but done 3 5th May was negative 10th was negative and today was negative I'm so confused as I have not long turned 36yrs and I have had 8 boys and lost a baby in march can anyone help me please

Hi Lisas8boys,

Some women will find it takes a few months for their periods to become regular again after a d & c. Since you are not sure as to whether your cycles have resumed, and you are feeling that pregnancy is a possibility, you might want to either wait another week and test again, or see your doctor for a blood test.

I will agree, my personal thought is just side effects of the D/C and going to take a little bit to get back to regular cycle. Also even though you may have tested positive this early on past pregnancy, the norm for most women is it is too early to test. So if you are pregnant it may be a few week or more for it to show on testing. (home test) I am sure you know to test with first urine of the morning.

If no period in a couple week, it may be worth a check with your doctor
