Sand and dirt in filter we change weekly house in Longwood. Help!
We have a big blue well pump or pressure thing & a motor that have been replaced because they run all the time or quit working. Now our filter newly installed is filling up with sand and dirt enough to make us change it weekly. Water pressure is low. What do we need to do?

Is your pump in the well or above ground? You are plainly pumping some sediment. The question is why. It might be as simple as pulling your wellpipe up three or four feet to get away from the bottom of the well.
