    Working abroad
I am moving azerbaijan to work for three years, I will only be returning to the uk for a maximum of 28 days per year, my salary will be paid to my uk Lloyd's bank account, or to a Azerbaijan account and then transferred to my uk Lloyd's bank account.

I have filled in the P85 to inform the tax office, will I get taxed on the monies deposited to me uk account.

Of course you will be taxed on the money deposited in your UK account. Only other way is a EU account which would be good if manageable.

Most European countries do NOT tax earned outside of the borders of their country. If they do tax such income, they allow a credit for taxes paid to the host country.
