    What to do?
I had my baby 8 weeks ago. I had a 2 degree tear. After about 2 weeks, my stitches came out with little bleeding. By 6 weeks I still had a little slit, which look about 3 cmm long. She restitched me using the ones that don't dissolve. After 3 days, I started feeling a little stinging pain. I took a look and there's the cut and the string is only on one side of the little opening. Will the cut heal on its own? How long will the healing on its own take? Do I have to be stitches up for a third time?

People vary widely in their ability to heal from stitches. You need to call your doctor. It's possible that the stitches came out of tender skin or something; we can't possibly know. You say you see the cut but is it open or closing? Cuts can make new skin without stitches, but this is for your doctor to decide, because you don't want bacteria in the cut.

Skin needs air to heal, and it isn't easy in hidden parts of the body, so after you bathe, pat yourself gently dry and lie on your bed naked for a while to air out even more. Or walk around the house in cotton undies. Don't wear tight clothing.
