Missed schooling
I missed most of my freshman year of high school, I have a month and half left and I was wondering if I'd be able to save my whole school year during May, June and over the summer to be able to pass to grade 10. ( I may not make sense, I'm agitated) please help

Failing Freshman Year
I don't have enough credits to pass, I was wondering if there was a way that I could make up my credits I missed for a whole year over the summer. I'm not making excuses but I had an emotional break down last year and I went off the wagon but I am smart, and intelligent and yes I have an ego but I'm a really nice person, or so I think hehe but anyway, I need advice with school and my principals and teachers won't give me the time of day. I could really use your advice. Thanks. :)

If you are wqilling to do all the work from now until August/September, why won't the school encourage that? Have you and your parents talked with them?

I think your best strategy is having your parents talk to the principals and teachers to see what can be worked out. Is that possible? Have you talked to your parents about it?

Set a time with your school counselor to go over what options you have for making up what is needed to catch up. Some schools will offer summer classes and/or night classes. You might even have an option of some online courses. You may or may not be able to fully catch up by the start of your sophomore year but you could continue working towards the goal of getting back on track.

I had an emotional breakdown and fell off the wagon, I've gotten suspended a lot too, my school won't give me the time of day and they will not take me seriously anymore.

Odds are you will have to repeat the year... some schools if you managed to make up all the material and pass the test MIGHT pass you... but that's a very tall order to fill in a very short amount of time. You HAVE to master the material of this year because next years builds off this years.

I'm not sure where you are located, but do you have alternative high schools in your area?

There may be no way to save this year but the next two will be crucial, as well as your senior year but since you'll be applying to school and whatnot this'll be the most important; also, bombing your freshman year means you won't have fun senior year.
