Am entitled for back beniefits SSI?
I was married to a man for 11 years who is still on SSI, I had two children before the marriage but he helped raise them for the 11 years of the marriage. He never mentioned they were entitled for beniefits. I continued to work the 11 years but he never officially worked, only side jobs not verified income. We divorced after 11 years, and two sons are now grown. Was I entitled for beniefits for them and myself, or can I still apply for back beniefits or is it too late.

If he was collecting SSI then they werent entitled to anything. If he was collecting SSD then there may be a chance they were entitled to a side benefit but you first have to know what he was actually collecting to know the answer.
