Genie Pro 88 wiring
I have a Genie Pro 88 garage door opener (old, but new to me). This opener has a 5 wire terminal block and I'm not sure what connects to each one. I have my push button switch connected to #1 and #2, and the door opens and closes correctly. The other 3 terminals are my area of confusion. I have a Genie Radio receiver (GR-85) that has 3 wires which are white, black, and red. Does anyone know which of the 3 remaining terminals they connect too?

Hi folks, I have an old Genie Pro 88 door opener without sensor, it will open OK but when I try to close it, it just tries to open further for a few moments then rests in the open position. I have a Genie Pro 88 with no infrared sensors. It will close just fine, but I have to open it manually. When I push the button to open, the motor spins for a split second then stops. If I open it manually, then it will close remotely with no problems. Any ideas anyone??
My Genie Pro 88 closes, but does not open. I can hear clicking coming from the black little boxes (on the circuit board) and the lights come on, but it will not open. I also checked the jumper plug and the connection is perfectly fine. I also checked the grounding points and they are all secured...
My Genie Pro 88 only opens and closes with the remote occasionally. I have cleaned the unit and tightened the screws. It works perfectly pushing the button, but with the remote it ddoesn't always respond. Can you please help me ?
