    How to get embassy to authenticate an Indian passport?
    Does anyone have inputs on how to get the Indian embassy in NY or DC to authenticate an Indian passport?

    I would start by calling them... or making an appointment with them... but that's just me.

    The Indian citizen would take the passport to them, and have it examined.

    If you just have a photo copy, most likely you are not going to get anything done, by anyone.

    What is the purpose for this?
