Is it strange for a 28 year old to enjoy 70's 80's and 90's music?
I love music what can I say almost in my 30's. Are there people like me that still love music. I have a strange taste of music, I mostly enjoy rock/hard rock and 80's metal some 90's metal. Also when I relax I listen to easy going music. Does music have a age limit I am 28 years old. I still feel young and look young. I am a male that just loves music until I die lol. The music I mostly use for the gym for a good pump.

    Hi Musicguy,

Many people will listen to a variety of music genres. It may lift your spirits, it may rev you up, it may cause you to feel something more deeply, it may relax you, etc.

I'm not sure why you would think it strange....:-) You enjoy what you enjoy... it's as simple as that. The love of music, for many people, is ageless.

Not strange at all. Most of today's stuff is crap... some of it is decent... I mean, Justin Bieber? Really... people call that music?

Justin Bieber is almost a "god" here in China, say his name in class and the girls all go 'ohhhh"

But music taste has little to do with age. A lot can come from culture background, social environment and more.

I am listening to music now, I have Hank Williams Sr. Black Sabbath, Whitney Houston and others, in my music Que.

I'm 47 and I listen to such groups as Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Slayer, Exodus....yet at the same time, I also like older music from when I was younger. 80's music that I didn't particularly like when I was growing up, I love now because of the memories. I listen to Blondie, ELO, Nena...I like The Who, The Doors, Jimi....and I even like singers now such as Jewel and Kelly Clarkson. I'm all over the map. There is no right or wrong when it comes to music.

I am also love different types music, It’s not a strange that 28 year old to enjoy 70’s and 80’s music. It’s just depend on our mood, When we happy we listen soft music like love songs, when we depress we love sad songs, when we want to make fun and masti then we listen rock music so it’s not a strange.
