Late/Missed Period, Discharge, Freaked out Me
I am going to cut to the chase.
My periods are usually irregular. Sometimes they come every 21 days or even every 30 days. I recently moved back in with my sister so our periods are always becoming late or early due to being around each other. My last period was the early morning of March 1st. Lasted the normal amount of days etc. That means, I am about due for my next. I know that I probably shouldn't be freaking out because I am not DAYS or WEEKS late at all, but I can't help but freak out. I have been under some stress lately. My cousin passed away this past month, I got into a few arguments with my mothers significant other, etc. I also suffer from insomnia so my sleeping schedule is rather messed up. (I read somewhere that it may have an affect on it) I have had slight cramping the last few days, and prior to getting my period (about 1 week before) I usually get cramps, which I did. Everything seemed on track and normal. I just recently started getting a white discharge (no smell, nothing gross, just the usual that I have read about) The discharge has been happening for about 2 days now. I almost has that sensation that I have my period, but I don't actually have it, just the discharge. I am literally freaked out about pregnancy because I never saw it in the cards for me due to having dysmenorrhea/endo. I also am not really ready for that kind of thing yet. I have been doing tons of online research, but it all basically gives me the same answer, either my period is coming or I am having early pregnancy symptoms and if I keep worrying about stressing about it, my period will be even later. I have been with my significant other for about 5 years now and we have never worn condoms because I had been on the pill for sometime. I recently maybe last year, 2 years ago, stopped taking the pill, however he does not ejaculate inside me. (I am aware about pre-) Basically, I am wondering if those factors I stated can be the reason my period is slow/late or if this is more of my horror story come true and I am pregnant? (No offense to mothers, I just don't want to be one so soon!) I've also not had any other symptoms like sore breasts, back back (outside of me falling down the stairs a few days ago and causing a sore back to myself) No spotting, nothing else. Thank you in advance! <3

First, where do you get the idea that being around your sister can affect each other's periods? While many things can affect your cycle that isn't one of them.
Second, as I said, many things can affect your cycle, stress, medications, etc. The withdrawal method is one of the least effective methods of birth control. So, if that is the only precaution you are taking (as it appears), you are at risk.
Third, I don't know what you are reading but there are no real "early pregnancy symptoms". The first manifestation of pregnancy is a missed period. Any other symptoms you may be having, while similar to the effects of pregnancy are too early to be due to pregnancy.
So the only thing you can do is wait another week or so (2 weeks after your period was due) and then you can take a pregnancy test.
And if the thought of pregnancy freaks you out, then do something more effective about preventing it!!

I don't have them and I REALLY want to cite them as well, but I have heard of studies showing that groups of women who spend a lot of time together, IE in the same household, tend to have their cycles start to sync. I can't recall when or where this study was done. Though I have to agree there are a butt load of other mitigating circumstances for why the period is late.

I will have to disagree with you on this one Scott.
It is very common for women who live together for their periods to make changes to have cycles close to the same time.
It happens very frequently in college dorms where all the girls in the same room, cycle will move closer together.
Why and how, I have no idea, but this is a common thing that happens, here on university.

As the rest of the comments told you, it is very possible to become in sync with other females around you. It has happened my entire life.
As for your "withdrawl" comments. The reasoning not the best methods were taking is due to the fact I have endometriosis and the odds of me getting pregnant are far less likely than most. Doctors have also told me that the chances were very slim. My fiancé works a lot so our "activity" is few and far between. 2 times this past month. My stupidity, yes, however I believed and ate up anything a doctor would tell me.
The early pregnancy symptoms I've read about are usually within the first 4 weeks. Yes, too early for me, but some of the things I am experiencing are similar so it does have me a little on edge. I have spent days and hours online reading about everything and every site I have found has given me the same information.

Still sounds fishy to me, but since its not my primary area of expertise, I'll bow to the other comments. However I do know that its too early for a pregnancy to manifest itself. Doesn't mean you aren't pregnant just that what you are feeling is not due to pregnancy.
ANY time there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. My wife had endometriosis and still became pregnant. So, while it may reduce the risk it doesn't eliminate it.

Maybe the moon does that; but I have never heard of this happening, a group of girls having the same cycle at one time, when they live together. I personally think that is an old wives tale that someone wanted to do research on, and found out similarities only.
Don't forget I am Wiccan, so, yes all the more reason for never hearing that because we have records gong back years and there is nothing in there about this.
