Hello everyone,

My last period was last February 16, 2014. And I'm expecting to have my period ds march 16 to 20. Its already 2 weeks but still I don't have my monthly menstruation.

Yesterday I have my pregnancy test, it shows positive. The second pregnancy test at night on the same of the first try was invalid. Ds day march 31, 2014 had my pregnancy test ds morning its negative with other brand.

Question. Is there any possibility that I'm pregnant?

Did you read the test results in the time frame stated on the test? Sometimes, if you look at it later on, it can look like a positive. If you did read it within the time stated for that test, then you would likely be pregnant. It is not common to have a false positive as long as the testing was done correctly. It could be that when you tested at night, there may not have been enough pregnancy hormone in your urine to register. It is recommended to use the test with first morning urine. If you were to test later in the day, it would be best to have not urinated for several hours so that the concentration can be higher. Tests can vary in their sensitivity (how soon they will pick up a pregnancy) so that can also be a reason for conflicting results.

Since your results have been mixed, it would be a good idea to see your doctor for a test there. They would want to confirm a pregnancy anyway even if all of your tests showed positive.
